Angel mel selector was born and bred in the heart and soul of the Bristol music scene. Coming from the west country with her roots planted in reggae, drum and bass and trip hop, later branching into other areas of underground dance music genres such as acid jazz, broken beat, deep house and soulful house.

as a selector she specialises in playing long sets where she can weave her magic. choosing the juiciest cuts from a wide cross section of music including; soul, funk, rare groove, boogie, disco, soulful & deep afro house, garage, jazz, broken beat, electronica, party anthems and club classics. angel mel classes herself as a chameleon and can play most genres with enthusiasm due to her diverse knowledge of music.

having had the honour of djing alongside many of her heroes including: Dennis bovell, Norman jay mbe, mad professor, Jocelyn brown, jazzie b, daddy g, dj spoony, zed bias and Huey Morgan and many more.
